We are excited to announce the Second Southern Science Conference, which will be held in the beautiful city of Mendoza, Argentina, from November 7th to 9th, 2024. The conference will be co-hosted in Brazil by the University of Vassouras. This conference is particularly special as it marks over 64 years Universidad de Mendoza, a consolidated institution of Higher Education, and the 20th anniversary of Periódico Tchê Química, a publication dedicated to promoting scientific and technological advancements in the sciences fields.
The Second Southern Science Conference (SSCON) will be a hybrid event, offering both in-person and virtual attendance options, allowing participants from all over the world to come together to discuss the theme of "Working Out the Global Crisis." In light of the current global situation, this theme is particularly relevant as we look to find solutions to the many pressing issues facing our planet today.
Please note that the conference will not charge any fees for participation, including the submission of presentations and publications of papers. The organizers aim to provide an inclusive platform for researchers and professionals to share their work and engage in fruitful discussions without financial barriers.
The Conference will feature keynote speeches, parallel sessions, poster presentations, and networking opportunities, allowing participants to exchange ideas, establish collaborations, and stay updated on the latest developments in their respective fields. We encourage researchers, academics, industry professionals, and students to submit their abstracts and contribute to the diverse range of topics covered during the event.
The conference will cover a wide range of topics related to science and technology, including food production, energy production, environmental sciences, valuation of endogenous resources, drug production, production without waste, waste management, and treatment. These topics will be addressed by renowned experts from around the world, who will share their insights and expertise on the latest developments in each field.
In addition to the rich program of lectures, workshops, and panel discussions, the SSCON will provide ample opportunities for networking, collaboration, and exchange of ideas. Attendees will be able to connect with like-minded individuals from different backgrounds, disciplines, and cultures, forging new relationships that will continue to inspire and drive innovation long after the conference has ended.
We look forward to welcoming you to Mendoza (Argentina), and Vassouras (Brazil) for this exciting event, where together, we will work towards creating a better future for our planet and all its inhabitants.
